Installation
All operating systems with support for Java 6 and R 2.8.0 or higher are supported, which includes Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
You need to have a current version of Java installed.
Go to http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and download the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for your operating system. After downloading start the installer as administrator and follow the instructions.
Due to legal reasons, some applications require an "application password". Please write us an email and we will send you your password.
Install
Click on the link of the starting JNLP file.You will have to trust the programm the first time it is started.
Just click "Next" in the install wizard. Everything should be fine. Only if you encounter problems try again and choose the advanced options. (In this case we would be interessed to hear what went wrong - please contact us.)
By default a short cut has been created on your desktop and you can now start the application even while offline.
If your Windows is telling you that the application wants to access the internet the application is checking for updates. If you don't want this, of course you can block the application and also disable the update checking in the settings. To update your application use the menu item "Extras"->"Check for update".
